No tax or status claim
Leah Matters is an educational and community initiative. This site does not claim nonprofit, registered-charity, or tax-exempt status, and it does not claim that any contribution would be tax-deductible. Those statements will not be published unless the underlying status is verified and the wording is approved for public use.
Legal and governance gate
Before accepting funds, Leah Matters must verify the operating entity, governance authority, applicable fundraising and solicitation requirements, decision rights, conflicts, and the organizational name under which contributions could legally be accepted.
Financial-control gate
Dedicated banking, bookkeeping, approvals, reconciliation, record retention, reporting, and an appropriate separation of duties must be documented before a public giving pathway opens.
Privacy and acknowledgment gate
Donor-data fields, retention, access, deletion, recognition, acknowledgments, restricted gifts, refunds, and error handling must be defined before donor information is collected.
Future secure processing
If online giving later opens, payment details must be handled by a verified PCI-compliant hosted processor. LeahLivesOn.com will not intentionally collect or store full payment-card or bank-account details in its own forms.
Questions or suspicious requests
Use the contact page to report an unexpected payment request or link, but do not submit card numbers, bank information, Social Security numbers, passwords, or other financial credentials. Website forms are not monitored for crisis support.
