Information currently collected

General contact and media forms may collect a name, organization, email address, optional phone number, topic, deadline, and the message a visitor chooses to provide. Technical hosting and security systems may also process ordinary request information needed to deliver the site, prevent cross-site submissions, enforce short abuse limits, and protect private administrative areas.

How information is used

Submitted information is used to respond to an inquiry, route it to the appropriate organizational contact, protect the site from abuse, and maintain necessary operational records. It is not sold. Form analytics do not include message text, health details, names, email addresses, phone numbers, or donation amounts.

Closed forms and earlier records

The website no longer accepts new Hope Board or donation-interest submissions. Previously collected moderation or inquiry records may remain subject to the access, retention, safety, correction, and deletion practices on this page. Previously approved Hope Board messages may remain publicly readable with their general signature.

Do not submit sensitive information

  • Do not submit crisis disclosures through a website form.
  • Do not submit medical records or graphic details.
  • Do not submit credit-card, bank-account, or Social Security information.
  • Do not identify a child or share a child’s private information without authorization.

Access and retention

Access should be limited to people responsible for responding to the inquiry. Leah Matters will retain information only as long as reasonably needed for the inquiry, legal obligations, safety, or organizational records. Formal retention periods will be published as operations mature.

Optional website analytics

Google Analytics is off unless a visitor affirmatively allows it. When allowed, the site sends broad page groups and basic resource-interaction events only. It does not send page paths, search terms, form text, crisis disclosures, health details, names, email addresses, phone numbers, or advertising identifiers. Advertising storage, personalization, and Google Signals remain disabled. Visitors may decline analytics without losing access to any content.

Questions, corrections, and deletion requests

Use the contact page and identify the request as a privacy question. Leah Matters will verify the request as appropriate and explain what can be corrected or deleted.
